Definewa Compact

Definewa solar lamp is a self-sufficient and mains-independent lamp for lighting roads, footpaths and cycle paths, parking lots, parking and green areas, bus stops, company premises, supermarkets and much more.  Via a powerful solar module, the electricity required to operate the lamp is generated and stored in a battery.

Definewa Modular

Unlike the Compact design, the DEFINEWA Modular lamp is a versatile light source with independent adjustment of the solar module to the position of the lighting unit. The high-performance solar module is connected to the lamp by means of a special construction and is able to set the optimal orientation to the course and position of the sun. This results in up to 40% higher efficiency in the utilization of solar energy and a wide range of applications.

Sustainable Ecological

In the context of the extension of illuminated pedestrian and bicycle paths, lighting is approved only under strict ecological conditions. The top priority is the prevention of insect mortality at the new lamps, as well as the prevention of light pollution to protect the fauna in the adjacent area.

Economic

The economic efficiency of our project solution can only be shown in comparison to conventional street lighting using LEDs. With the same technical features, equipment and performance, the investment costs for lamp head and lamp post are at a similar level.

The decisive differences that speak in favor of our system are, in addition to the installation costs, the energy consumption and the climate protection, the considerable costs for the laying of the current-carrying cables for the supply of the lamps

Variable and effective

The projected light point height is 3.5 – 4 meters. In order to concentrate the light as far as possible on the pedestrian and bicycle path, a lens attachment is used to illuminate the path over a total length of approx. 40 meters. The width of the illumination depends on the width of the pedestrian and bicycle path and is projected in such a way that the adjacent area is contaminated with light with a maximum of 0.5 meters on each side.

The light intensity of the LED is programmed in such a way that in case of movement in the sensor area an illuminance of approx. 15 LUX is achieved. Without movement, the illuminance is reduced to approx. 2 LUX, which practically eliminates the risk of light contamination.
